(Kaitlyn Kitch, KneoWorld intern, and me at her graduation)
Two years ago I spearheaded a new campaign at my former company (educational software) to collaborate with local interns. My former company, KneoWorld, agreed to participate in the innovative internship program Mr. Stanczack initiated a few years ago and what a success it has been. My company benefited from having two intelligent and motivated young women on board. One helped to create our first social media campaign and the other was the first UX (user experience) tester our company ever hired. This young woman molded the sophisticated UX program that we have since implemented, and we are so grateful for both of these women's professionalism and commitment to excellence. That is a testament to this community and our great schools.
Mr. Stanczack would be happy to know that this initiative spread to our Manhattan and Melbourne, Australia offices. Employees and future employees are benefitting from this collaboration.
Fresh ideas + experience = a winning combo
I will continue to support this program and hope to partner with more businesses and industries in the area. This invaluable experience prepares students for the real world and shapes their direction.
