Roots

Although I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I put my roots down in Murrysville more than 20 years ago when we searched for a tight-knit community with exceptional schools. All three of my children attended PreK2's through high school graduation here in Murrysville. In fact, Mrs. Bazzani at Newlonsburg Presbyterian is the only reason I didn't have three children in diapers at one time thanks to her much appreciated parenting advice and potty training my eldest! Big shout out to Mrs. Wallisch and Mrs. Greenleaf, also, for giving my children a nurturing, loving, and structured start.

All three of my children attended Heritage where they started in kindergarten with Mrs. Morton and Miss Kilbury, the Dynamic Duo. They taught me as much as they taught my children. I'll never forget the advise Mrs. Morton gave me when I came to her with a concern about one of my children's learning. She reassured me that I know my children more than any educator on earth and to trust myself that I know what is best for my own children.

THANK YOU MRS. MORTON!!!!!!

FRAA baseball, soccer, basketball, softball were all a huge part of elementary and middle school life where my children, husband, and I formed life-long friendships. We've been members of Murrysville Swim Club for 19 years and cherish the times my kids used water wings to senior nights. In high school and middle school my children participated in FR band, choir, volleyball, basketball, baseball, football, and swimming. My husband and I have put in hundreds of volunteer hours to ensure the children of this community have all that they need for a well-balanced, happy childhood and a sense of community.

BIG SHOUTOUT TO ALL THE AMAZING COACHES, ESPECIALLY TO ZAC KESSLER, HERB YINGLING, AND VIC SANTORO who always believed in my children and that ALL CHILDREN CAN achieve their very best in academics and education.

We live in an amazing community with amazing people who want to see many generations to come have wonderful lives here. I'd love to hear your community stories. Please share your treasured memories and important people at FR under the comments section.
